Centre Director: Bulelwa Ndibongo 

Bulelwa was born in Johannesburg and came to study at the University of the Western Cape where she qualified as a teacher, and later as a Pyschometrist.

She has worked for 20 years in the NGO sector - mostly in management roles. She has extensive experience in Community Development with links to Children and Youth work. Her niche is to serve with love and to have a positive impact daily in her interactions with people. She thrives in developing people to do their best and realising their worth! Bulelwa joined Isivivana in January 2019

LIbrarian: Nosipho Nondala

Nosipho was born in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Fort Hare. She joined the Isivivana Centre in September 2018. Before this, she worked as a school librarian at Khanyisa High School and Mandela School of Science and Technology in Mthatha.

Library Assistant: Olwethu Mduma

Olwethu Patience was born in Cape Town on November 19, 1991. She went to Intshayelelo. P.P School and Dr N.R Mandela High School, Currently Olwethu is registered at Unisa for Diploma in Archives and Records Management. From 2012 until 2015 she worked at Kulani Public Library as an Assistant Librarian and since 2017 has worked at Isivivana Centre Library, first as an intern and then as the Library Assistant. Olwethu is a Scouter and serves as a Vice-President at Khayelitsha Rotaract Club. She is also a founder and director of young girls programme named Chosen Generation, for girls aged between 12 to 16 years. Her passion is awakening and supporting the love for book reading and story writing for young people in S.A

Bookings Officer: Qayisani Dlakana

Qayisani was born in Butterworth in the Eastern Cape. She studied for a BA degree, majoring in Drama, Politics, and Gender studies from the University of Cape Town. She also studies Music Production & Entrepreneurship at Bridges for Music academy. She's a Future Females' Business school graduate. She's an entrepreneur who has also worked as a Customer services advisor for Capita SA. Qayisani joined Isivivana Centre in January 2022. 

Finance Officer: Athenkosi Sityata
Mr. Athenkosi Sityata was born and raised in Willowvale, Eastern Cape and completed his matric in Elliot High School. He went to Nelson Mandela (Metropolitan) University to further and obtained Bcom Accounting (2017), Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (2017), Advanced Diploma in Business Studies (Monitoring and Evaluation) (2019) and Postgraduate Diploma in Internal Auditing (2020). He has been involved in and led campaigns and programs of social justice in his time as student and in the community of Willowvale. He was previously in the employ of Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Maintenance Supervisor: Luthando Mlanjana

Luthando was born in Nyanga Location Cape Town, currently living in Khayelitsha. He Studied Town and Regional Planning at CPUT. Luthando has been self-employed for the past 5 years, running his construction company. He joined Isivivana as a maintenance supervisor in April 2019

Security: Abdullah Bususwa

Abdul joined the Isivivana team in September 2016. He previously worked for Médecins Sans Frontières for 12 years. He is studying Electrical Engineering part-time.

Security: Mlawuli Malima

Mlawuli grew up in Alice in the Eastern Cape and was educated at Groto Senior Secondary School. He currently lives in Kuyasa, Khayelitsha. He has been working for the Isivivana Centre since June 2016.

Security: Zweli  Sifumba

Zweli grew up in Nqamakwa in the Eastern Cape and was educated at Mtawelanga High School. He currently lives in Litha Park. He has been working for the Isivivana Centre since June 2016.

Security: Siyabonga  Sotomela

Siyabonga grew up in Nqamakwa in the Eastern Cape and was educated at Cunningham High School. He currently lives in Delft. He has been working for the Isivivana Centre since June 2016.

Housekeeping: Vatiswa Mgadi 

Vatiswa grew up in Ladyfrere in the Eastern Cape and was educated at Uxolo High School. She has been working for the Isivivana Centre since June 2016

Housekeeping: Nomfundo Sofute 

Nomfunde was born in Ngqamakwe in the Eastern Cape, now currently staying in Town Two Khayelitsha. She worked as a House Keeper at New Metro for 5 years. She joined the housekeeper’s team at Isivivana in April 2019.

Housekeeping: Lundi Tabata 

Lundi was born in Gugulethu Cape Town now residing in "H" Section Khayelitsha. He is staying with his Grandmother, Sister, Cousins, niece, and nephew. He joined the Isivivana housekeeper’s team in April 2019.
